Acupuncture - Safe and Effective
Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning. This is done by inserting needles and applying heat or electrical stimulation at very precise acupuncture points. The modern scientific explanation is that needling the acupuncture points stimulates the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and the brain.

Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA)
The MUA consists of a non-invasive treatment offered for chronic conditions and chronic pain. It is considered safe and is utilized to treat pain arising from the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; the sacroiliac, pelvic regions and joints; and shoulders, hips and knees with post surgical disorders.
From February 1st to the 29th, for a $25 donation, or items needed ($25 value) for the Love Center, new patients will receive initial exam and x-ray. Established patients are encouraged to participate. All donations benefit the Love Center.

I graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2010 with an advanced master body worker diploma. From there I went to London to train to work on a cruise ship as a massage therapist. I worked aboard the Norwegian Sun. I then came back home to Southside Alabama and became a member of the Performance Chiropractic team. I have been at Performance Chiropractic since May 2011 and couldn’t ask for a better place to practice massage therapy. I love my fellow coworkers and the new friendship I have gained with them as well as my clients. I love Massage Therapy and plan to continue practicing for a very long time. I am also a student working on my business degree at Gadsden State.
