Acupuncture - Safe and Effective
Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning. This is done by inserting needles and applying heat or electrical stimulation at very precise acupuncture points. The modern scientific explanation is that needling the acupuncture points stimulates the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and the brain.

Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA)
The MUA consists of a non-invasive treatment offered for chronic conditions and chronic pain. It is considered safe and is utilized to treat pain arising from the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; the sacroiliac, pelvic regions and joints; and shoulders, hips and knees with post surgical disorders.
From February 1st to the 29th, for a $25 donation, or items needed ($25 value) for the Love Center, new patients will receive initial exam and x-ray. Established patients are encouraged to participate. All donations benefit the Love Center.
Dr. Will Stewart
Dr. Will Stewart received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Auburn University. He went on to attend National University of Health Sciences and received a bachelor’s degree in human biology and earned his doctor of chiropractic degree. Dr. Stewart holds several certifications. He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is certified as a licensed acupuncturist and kinesiotaping practitioner. Dr. Stewart is also certified to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Alabama State Chiropractic Association and the Etowah Chiropractic Society.
Dr. Stewart is married to Frances and has two children. He and his wife are members of Meadowbrook Baptist Church.
